Question about XML Message from the Device Controller

Hello.

Assume I have a device controller posting an XML Message to AII via the web service /sap/scm/ain/. The XML Message is creating a new EPC number.

If the message fails to post because an attribute is wrong is the XML Message stored in a table? If so what table? Also can the XML Message be reprocessed?

If the XML message is sucessfully posted in the XML message stored in a table?

Thanks in Advance for your help.

Regards,

Bob

it can be reporcessed when you see reprocess flag in SXMB_MONI

    >>>If the XML message is sucessfully posted in the XML message stored in a table?

yes but as XML message and not as values

      Bob,

You got it.. the sxmb_moni transaction is used for messages that are processed through the xi integration engine. The device controller messages are not processed the same way. The way to view the messages would be to set the debug on in the sicf transaction for that /sap/scm/ain node.

BTW just to jog your memory I worked with you on the phase 1 and 2 stuff on the pilots doing the custom app with connecterra. Hope things are well. with you!
