Updated to version 4.2 SP4 from 4.1 SP2. Can't see or find BI Administrator Cockpit

Hi,

We have updated our BO install to version 4.2 SP4 from 4.1 SP2 and the new feature BI Administrator Cockpit is not visible in the main CMC menu or in Application ->

We use MS SQL Server for the CMC database, not sure if that affects anything.

Have you tried searching knowledge base before asking ?

Hi. https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2468502 does describe the issue.

The only trouble is that I did reboot after updating from 4.1 to 4.2 SP4 and re-creating the CMC is not preferabble in a prod environment.

you can create a new CMS DB and migrate content to it from original.
You can also try to see what else happened during upgrade. maybe there were some dfo's that didn't get uploaded or something else happened.
Or you can always open in Incident with SAP.
