I’d like to ask for your expert advise whether the following is feasible with standard Interface Channel/Idoc monitoring in Solman MAI.
I am trying to implement such daily idoc monitoring that is capturing that actual day’s idoc failures for given message types, identifying based on certain status message ids/numbers and routing them to certain recipients. Each day the monitoring would collect the data for the actual day around midnight. I would only filter for those idocs that were created on that particular day (Max. Idoc age=24).
Therefore the following day i would not report the idoc failure from yesterday. However what happens if the idoc was reprocessed the next day and it received a different status message id/number compared to the previous day? I would only be able to report that if i do not filter on the Max idoc age however in that case if an idoc is reprocessed every day with the same error message, i would send an alert every day but that is not allowed as the recipients should not be spammed.
So in summary: i would want to create a daily idoc error report that indicates every error on that particular idocs only once. If the idoc fails with the same error the following day, then no alert should be sent however if it fails with a different error, then it should be raised as a new alert included in the following day’s report as well.
Do you have any recommendation on how i could be able to achieve this? As per my knowledge this is not achievable with the current capabilities of the tool, I hope somebody can correct me if i'm wrong.
