Upper Limit of the ChangeSet in $Batch with Odata

We have thousands lines of data ,can we put them in one $Batch?

Technically yes there is no limit as far as i know.

But I am curious to know the business scenario which is demanding this type of handling.

Please note that OData services are intended for building light weight applications.

So I kindly request to re-evaluate your scenario which is demanding this type of handling.
