Create an ECM with valid data in the PAST ?

Hi, Is it possible to create an ECM valid at data in the PAST, this only to correct the history of a Product ...I mean to create a specific different version of a bom in the past to trace the devevelopment stages. For example , during the develop.. we create at least 3 Baseline version now obsolete, but we would like to insert on SAP these 3 stages as creating a Piture of crtain state of bom (i.e different drawings version, different sub materials revision, different sub materials). Can this create problems to the active valid form today BOM ?

Yes you can have a ECM with Valid Date as Past Date. When you create change number, specify Past Date as Valid Date and you can use the change number in BOM Change transaction, system automatically take the past date. Please try this. Hope it helps.
