After Mutliple Branches enablement ,Series Lock Autorization not working

Dear Experts,

After Mutiple Branches Enablement in our SBO client Database, Series lock Authorization has no effect in it.We were implemented a Single Database for 5 units. Please provide a solution , how to restrict other Unit Users from viewing Marketing Documents other than their units.

Please provide us a solution ASAP.

Hi Nirmal kumar,

You need Select checkbox Enable Data ownership

Under General Setting--> BP Tab-->Enable Data Ownership --> Manage Data Ownership by --> Branch

then you will be able to restrict user by branch

Hi Nirmal,

Did you selected Checkbox Enable Multiple Branches , Under Company Details-->Basic Initialization -> Enable Multiple Branches

And Which version and Hotfix are you currently using.

Dear Mr Navanath Gore,

Thanks for your Reply. I had enabled the "Enable Data Ownership" under General Setting--> BP Tab-->Enable Data Ownership ,

but under manage Data Ownership by --> there is no option as "branch",instead it shows the options which is mentioned below:

1) Document Only

2) Business Partner Only

3) Business partner and Document.

I had enabled "Business partner and Document" ,after that under Data ownership Authorizations - for the corresponding Employee name (User Code Assigned) ,set the branch to "full" Authorization .It doesn't restrict viewing other branch BP Master Data.

Please check into it and solve this issue.

Secondly , is there any workaround in standard reports that without enabling the "branch Option" the report won't run?

Please provide a solution for the above mentioned.
