Search function in SPRO

While I am in ERP6 SPRO and click on search (binoculars) and enter a key word and enter. The system shows the hit list, but if I highlight one and double click, it is back the regular screen of SPRO. The search does not help in landing at the node that was selected from the hit list.

Could some point what needs to be fixed? I thought ERP6 has advanced search capabilities.
