Material Replication - Leading Zeros

I am currently trying to replicate materials from R/3 to SRM but seem to be encountering an error in using my replicated materials.

So when I attempt to use a material it says that the material 0000000000000000000000000000000000123451 does not exist in plan AN02. I think this is because of too many leading zeros.

It appears that when you look at table COMM_PRODUCT my products have a character length of 40 while in my configuration I specified that I only wanted 18. I specified 18 both in SRM and in the backend system.

If anyone has any ideas as to what might be going on here I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi,

Check if the material is extended to the plant you are using in SRM. ( Extended in SRM and ECC )

Thank you

To check if a material is extended to a plant, you go to MM03 and enter the material number and then from the next pop-up, select plant data or accounting or costing view. then press enter.

It will ask you to enter the plant number, there cilck on list of plants available. If you material is maintained for the plant you are looking for, that plant will appear, otherwise not.

Then you may have to extend the plant via MM01.
