Validation Error

Hello All,

I have created new validation rule to avoid one document posting with particular user id. But when I have tested, still the system is not preventing to post the document. After transportation of validation into QA, Is there any programme to be ran to become the validation effective ?

We are in version 4.7.

Can any body through light on this issue?

It was due to use of Lower case instead of Uppper case.

Hi,

Please ensure that the config is complete in OB28 - assigining the validation to your cocmpany code.

Thanks a lot for your immediate response. I have already assigned to company code. I just added one more in that.

I head that we need to run some programme to make effect the validation changes. But I am not sure.

Please check in Transaction GBB0 whether the validation given by you is exisitng or not.

Hello Radhika,

Really thanks a lot for your support. I have got the solution. You made me to relook the validation rule and I found that instead of CAPS, I have given in lower case which is making this issue. Now it was working fine.
