How to run asset depreciation to close fiscal year in sap business by design in demo tenant

Hi expert,

Here I got a business bydesign demo tenant after completing the assessment required for presales and solution consultant.

But I can not perform some tasks because of the fiscal year is still 2015, I try to make a new fiscal year 2017 but there are 3 fiscal years that are currently active in the system. When I try to close them there is an error said that I need to run depreciation for some assets.

I try to run depreciation but there is also error appeared said that the period I enter is already closed

So anyone face the same problem with me?

If you have any suggestion please help me to fix it

Overall, In order to close the fiscal year, you will need to post the depreciation for the asset.

For example, If you are planning to close fiscal year 2015, you will need to post all the calculated depreciation for year 2015.

You can execute the depreciation run for last period of 2015 (it should be 012.2015). For this depreciation run, Last allowed step of the period 012.2015 should be 020 or higher (Period status must be open).
