How can I create a Key Figure, that is year-to-date Amount in DataSource Journal Entries?

Hi experts,

In Bydesign System, I want to create a report with amount and year-to-date amount using the DataSource Journal Entries,as:

Now I try to add a new Key Figure "yeartodateamount" to achieve it.

I do the step:

Then I add the Key Figure to the report.

Question: when I run the report, the report raise "Exit Member ANA_FISCPER_EXIT_0150 did not return any selection"?

What is the problem? Any idea to achieve the year-to-date amount in DataSource Journal Entries?

Hello Benny,

I have searched on similar cases and found out a solution that may be applied to your case.

I have noticed that the Key figure yeartodateamount have a restriction tab with the value "fixed", this configuration usually causes the error message that it's appearing in your report, so you need to remove this value "fixed". When working with custom reports, the relative selection does not work. Only absolute values must be defined. You need to change this in "Design Key Figures" view under Business Analytics work center.

This change should correct the behavior that you are experiencing.

If I change the field to absolute values, I'm little troubled by it, how can I achieve the year-to-date amount?
