How many times BEx query has been executed??? - Very Urgent

Former Member

Hi GURU's,

I want to know how many times my BEx query has been executed in last four months and by how many users.

I have already posted this question but got replies saying that you can get the infor from cubes 0BWTC_c03 0BWTC_C02, but I am not sure how to find this out.

Please let me know how to get the desired information and requesting you to explain in detail.

Would definitely assign points for the helpful solution.

Thanks & Regards.

Hello,

If you r in BW 3.5....

Check your statistic cubes are updating properly or not ( 0BWTC_C03 0BWTC_C02 , 04 , 09 , 11).

You can create a query on multiprovider ( bw statistics – 0bwtc_c10 ) or use the SAP supplied reports.

u can use the infoobjects 0TCTUSERNM , 0TCTQUERY,0TCTNAVCTR, 0CALMONTH,0TCTIFCUBE,0TCTIFAREA.

and in filter section use 0TCTSYSND , 0TCTOLAPACT , 0TCTOBJVRS to filter accordingly.

Hope this helps..

Regards,

Hi,

Thnx for the quick reply.

How to check whether the statistics are active for the cube or not.

FYI : And my query is built on multiprovider.

Thanks & Regards.

Modeling>Infoproviders>Tools-->BW Statistics for Infoprovider

there should be a check box next to the cube

I'm not sure how you can tell when it was activated though if others did it recently?

Hi,

Ya I checked the statistics in RSDDSTAT T.code and in that I went to infoprovider and searched for my multiprovider and in the statistics column it is displyed as D - Default.

Is this the one that u wanted me to check???

If yes, then it is D.

yeah u can check it there too...if you can get the technical ID of the query then u can use that to just look in RSDDSTAT and see how many unique sessions there have been

1) view the table RSDDSTAT

2) Enter the technical name under QUERYID

3) increase the width and length of the output

4) click execute

5) download the results to excel

6) use the start time and session ID to pivot on the data

unless u have the BW cubes loading in which case you can just execute one of the standard reports

Hi,

My statistics for the query and multiprovider are D - Default. Do I need to change it to X - On in order to gett his information???

And I have followed the steps which you have given me but there are lot of session ID's with the same tech name. How to go about doing this???

well you need to understand that each record in that table is a navigation on the query....each unique session is a user opening the report...you can dump it all in excel and then build a pivot table that will essentially look exactly the same as the BW report will..you need to understand the data a bit and explore it to get what you need...if you can't read the data I can't really help you much

UNLESS you already are loading the standard BW cubes and have the BC reports active in which case you can save a few steps
