Conversion

Hi,

i have a character field (amount) in which the value is stored as "00000277865"..now i need insert a decimal point before the last 2 digits..my output should become "00002778.65". the decimal point should be based on the user settings..can anyone help me in this regard how to acheive this using WRITE statement
