optimized BPC -s-4 HANA

Hi all,

I'm beginner to Optimized BPC. We are going to implement optimized BPC but we have few queries.

In our requirement, there are two plan cubes namely P/L(profit/loss) cube and Cost/expense cube. Now I'm aware that there is builtin cube for planning in finance, which is /ERP/SFIN_R01 . And our cube should contain the fields:

•Account (P&L Accounts) • Time (Year/Months) • Category (Actual/Forecast) •Entity • Currency • Profit Center • Segment • Distribution Channel

and

•Account (Costs Accounts) • Time (Year/Months) • Category (Actual/Forecast) •Entity • Currency • Cost Center • Segment

Receptively .

So, now to start the build with, should I alter the structure of the standard cube SFIN_R01 to include those above fields or do I have to create the new cubes? .

If I' m using the same structure, is it OK to alter the structure? and can I club the fields of both the PL ad Cost cubes in this one SFIN_R01?

Please help me with these questions.
