Change Inventory Valuation Method

Hi,

I try to change the Inventory Valuation Method from 'Standard' to 'Moving Average' under Inventory Management. But I can not process and always return 'No Data message[131-85]', I do check the item quantity in all warehouse already 0. Any idea about it?

Hello,

Have you checked commited and ordered qty ? have they been set to zero ?

To change valuation method, the documents that currently available must not use the item that you want to change the valuation method.

Yes, I do checked thru all warehouse on commited and ordered.

Hello,

The message 131-85 no data appears if you want to change valuation method of a certain item that its stock on hand still exists in the warehouse. If you have assured that quantity of the item in all warehouses have been zero, it means there is an error, maybe bugs or other. It is also possibly corrupted. What version are you using ? try to capture the screen shot and send to SAP Support. They could need database but if they have note about it, they won't request it.
