ANSAL not stored in basic pay infotype table

Hello,

We are using screen 2010 for basic pay screen in order to calculate the annual salary (ANSAL). However, we are noticing that the annual salary shows up correctly on the infotype through PA30/PA20 transaction but when we go to the infotype table PA0008, we find the amount as zero for some employees.

Has anyone here ever seen this situation, if so would you please let us know the steps that you took to correct it.

We are on SAP release 4.6C.

Thanks a lot for all your responses.

With best regards,

Saplover

    Hi,

Try changing the infotype manually using PA30 and then save. On doing this, the BD table Pa0008 will be updated.

The 0008 infotype will be populated by some actions and so the ANSAL will be calculated in runtime and displayed in screen and actually will not come from the DB table. This is true even for the wagetypes and amounts for each wagetype.

The wagetypes and amount come from T510 table and Screen totals like ANSAL come dynamically.

    Hope this helps.

    Reward if this helps you.

    Regards,

    Subbu.

      Hello Narasimha,

Yes, we have customized the ANSAL feature, without which it should not calculate the annual salary. As I mentioned earlier, it calculates the annual salary correctly but it some time it does not store the amount at table level.

      Thanks,
