FireFighter with Large CDHDR table

Hello,

I wanted to find out who is using the product FireFighter, especially with a large CDHDR table which affects the performance of the product.

What problems have you encountered?

How have you resolved this?

Did you follow SAP Note 1039144 which advises to index the tables?

If you did index the tables, what were the results?

Any insight or comments would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    We also had a similar experience with CDHDR table during the firefighter implementation.

    The Firefighter background job took more time to complete. After Indexing the CDHDR table ( as per the note) the bacground jobs completed in less time. CDHDR was around 5 gb in size with around 40 million records.

    Hello,

    We were having performance issues running the Firefighter update log report (/virsa/zvfatbak). We added an index after being directed to do so in an OSS message reply. The log report now runs fine, and we have not noticed any negative impact. The current table size for CDHDR here is 12.8GB.
