How to use a Web Template with queries from multiple BW Systems?

can anybody help me how to use a Web Template with queries (DATA PROVIDER)in it from multiple BW Systems?

Hi Deepu,

After:

<bi:QUERY_VIEW_DATA_PROVIDER name="DP_1" >

Put this in:

<bi:SYSTEM value="Q11CLNT003" />

Q11CLNT003 is the ALIAS in the portal....

Have you tried this for XMLA datasources created within the EP system also?

i.e use Web Analyzer to create a view from the XMLA source and use that view within WAD?

With plain vanilla WAD tool ,it is not possible to do that as the data providers are restricted to single BW instance.

VC seems to be a good choice here ..

Solved it.

Its also working in WAD with additional parameters in XHTML.

Hi,

I think it isn't possible to do this because one template is associated to a bw system. You could try to build several templates and link them. The other possibility is to use visual composer which allows to work with different systems.
