We have a BEx query we are using in Analysis for Office. In the BEx query we have the "display as hierarchy" option checked in the rows (i.e. this is not a true BW hierarchy) as the users like to see the roll-ups. The users want to be able to expand all levels at once, which you can do in a normal hierarchy in BEx Analyzer and Analysis for Office. There is an expand to level option visible when consuming a standard BW hierarchy. When the display as hierachy setting is ticked, you can only expand one level at a time and can only do this for one characteristic. We don't want to expand all levels at query execution.
Does anyone know if this is by design and if SAP has any plans on changing this feature in upcoming Analysis Office releases? Pretty sure this is just a BEx query issue but thought someone might have more info.
