Hi All

I have just completed a test upgrade to SQL 2005 on our DEV system.

Anyway I have tried to run SGEN and in SM21 I am getting the error message 'Error calling the central lock handler' does anyone know how this can be resolved.

Thanks

Phil

Hi Phil,

It's difficult to say from SM21 log, Did you see any dump in ST22? Are you able to complete SGEN or not?, If you can provide details message it will be more helpful.

Regards,

Hari.

PS: Points are welcome.

Sorry - Will try and expand!

<b>ST22</b>

I have two short dumps which are READ_SWITCHSTATES_FAILED errors but I think that occured when I logged in so that might be a seperate issue.

<b>SGEN</b>

After attempting to run SGEN i get the following message on screen:

Job has not been started yet:

Job Name: RSPARAGENER8

Job Status: does not exist

I have background processes available and there is no job in SM37.

<b>SM21</b>

The technical errors are:

172 485100 l Error (Module, Row) GI 0 enctrl.c1207

Message:

05332 Dialog work process No. 000 SAPSYS 1 K SAP Web AS Problem SENQ

I could send you a screen print if it helps!

Does this help?

Thanks

Phil

Phil,

This SM21 error is not related to SGEN. When it comes to SGEN, you crea te a job like generate objects after change/upgrade---- > select what are all the components to be generated-------> run this in BTC.

I am still getting the message in SGEN:

Job has not been started yet:

Job Name: RSPARAGENER8

Job Status: does not exist

However I have noticed that in SICK i have the following message:

application server with enque service sqltest_DEV_00 not running

Severe problems were detected during initial system check.

Please, do not use that system before fixing these problems.

And even when I go into SMLG the error at the bottom of the screen is:

Table RZLLITAB could not be locked

I think this is a SQL issue - some settings missing possibly?

Hello,

Were you able to resolve this problem ?

We have the same error. We installed a new sap system using system copy - export/import

Environment - oracle 10.2.0.4 on Win 2003, ECC6 EHP4 NW 7.01

background WPs are available, RZ04, RZ12, RFC group, all seems to be fine.

Job has not been started yet:

Job Name: RSPARAGENER8

Job Status: does not exist

Anybody has any suggestions ?

Thanks !
