PIRWBUSER is locked by incorrect login

Hi all,

When I try to open the message monitoring in RWB, following error message is shown:"Error during communication with System Landscape Directory: User credentials are invalid or user is denied access "

I found it is caused by PIRWBUSER. It is locked fo incorrect login, and whenever I unlock this user, it will be locked several minutes later, so I guess certain program is using this user and the password this program's using is wrong. Now I cannot locate which program is using this user.

Anyone can help me?

Check OSS Note 936093 on changing passwords for PI Service users and make sure they are correct.

I have the exact same scenerio. This happened after a system copy activity from our Prod PI system to our Sandbox PI system. I followed the OSS note to rename all the passwords and it's still happening. Not only for this user but also for user PIDIRUSER.

YiNing --- Can you please update with the details if you were able to fix the password lockingn problem?

    Thanks,

    R Williams

I don't have a good approch to do that, so I checked the RFCs in SM59 one by one, and finally find one using the user with a strange password status, I can't remember what the status is, but it was not "saved".

      Hope it helps you.
