number ragge buffering

Hi All

Iam doing number range buffering in my project i don't have authorizations in Development box as well as in Production,Do I need to set these buffer ranges in

development then transport those cubes to production,otherwise Can i do it directly in production? We are doing the number ranges for dimensions and InfoObject,in that case which objects we have to transport (cube or only dimension)

and what is value i have to give in memory? ,Please it's an argent,your answers will

be highly appreciatable,Thanks in advance

Hi,

well normally changes to number range objects are done in each system manually. Do not transport number range objects. It might lead to a inconsistent system which also doesn't work anymore propably. So do the changes in your prod. system directly.
