can u give me a detail step by step procedure to configure MRP AREA . ( plant level, storage location level, and subcontract type MRP area.

Hi Nithyaseelan and all,

Please note that activating MRP at MRP Area is a CLIENT LEVEL setting which effects all the plants and is IRREVERSIBLE.

Hi NITHIYASEELAN ,

1. Create MRP areas for area types 01- Plant, 02-Storage Location, 03-Subcontractor in IMG>Production Planning>MRP>Master data>MRP Areas

2. Assign MRP Areas to Material Master in MRP 1 View and select the MRP Parameters relevant to those MRP Areas

3. Give PIR MRP Area wise and run MRP for each MRP area

4. Stock can be displayed for each MRP area through MMBE

Reward if cleared and close the thread.
