Create BP role in R/3

How do i create a new BP role in R/3? Please advise in detail with all steps.

Hi,

That can be done through customization.

You need to go to SPRO transaction in that SAP Media--> MasterData>Business Partner-->Control--->Define Business Partner Role

There you can create what ever role u want to give (valid) as per the requirement.

Sarat,

Thanks for your reply. But I am trying to create the role thru

Cross Application Component --> SAP Business Partners --> Business Partner --> Basic Settings --> Business Partner roles --> Properties of Business Partner roles. When I create a new role i get the following error

"Entry BUPA ZEN001 does not exist in TBZ0 - check your entry".

Hope this explains my problem.

Transaction code is BUPT in R/3.

SAP Implementation Guide→Cross Application Component→SAP Business Partner→Business Partner -> Basic Settings→Business Partner Roles→Define BP Roles
