Picking Quantity field

Hello Gurus,

At the creation of the delivery via VL01N, the picking quantity field based on what conditions (customizing?) is greyed ?

Hi Stratos,

The setting can be controlled at delivery item category i.e. Tcode: 0VLP and further check in over view screen whether the item category is been marked for relevent for picking or not.

Hi Stratos,

This is vary basic que. If that particular delivering Plant is Warehouse managed then Picking Tab will be grayed out. In that case you need to first create transport Order by using LT12 where you need to Pick the quantity from correct storage Bin. After that you need to confirm Transport Order by using T Code LT15. Once you will confirm, system automatically complete picking activity in Delivery Doc.

did you check any customizing relevant to delivery item categories? This is a very basic question, and I believe you could have easily answered it by yourself had you checked delivery item categories customizing (Hint: This is relevant to Picking).
