how to get an output type as default?

Hi all!

We have one output type (NEU) as default for our Purchase order printout.But as per our new requirement we have created one more output type with a few modifications. So , these two output types should be shown as default so that users ' ll select the output type as per their requirement.Please help me regarding this.Application is EF.

Hi,

One way is, u create a new output type say ZNEU. And when u create a PO , use menu GOTO->MESSAGES, and in the next screen under Output types tab, slect the icon for output type as ZNEU and save it. If u assign here, by default when u select the output type ZNEU will be assigned. Try these steps.

So, if u didn't assign ZNEU output type, by default it will take NEU. Use according to ur requirement.

Yes, obviously. But this ZNEU will be available for that P.O. only right? If we create another P.O. now, we are not getting that 2nd output type. My intention is to get two output types as default from configuration while creating the Purchase order itself.Please help.

Hi

Go to NACE..choose the application..EF...Then press the condition records button..

Give the output type NEU..then create the condition records for the corresponding key combination..

You create condition records and the output types will be automatically be proposed while creating the PO
