Hi gurus,
We are using Make to Order Production with variant configuration, for each sales order item we have to enter a large number of characteristics. In the same sales document we need to replicate the first item entered and enter the all characteristics again. Our sales documents can have more than 10 items. Anybody can give me how we can copy the items in the same sales document?
Thank very much in advanced.
Amparo
In the sales order, go to the configuration of the first configured item after entering values. Then use menu path Value assignment -> Save temporarily -> Save as... to save to any name that you like. Then go to a new item and use Value assignment -> Save temporarily -> OverviewI to select the name you gave and all values are copied. Modify as needed.

Please try creating an Item Proposal which will contain all the item that you need to enter in your sales order, Item proposal will have SD document categ. as D,
You will have to assign the item category to your sales area, then in sales area either you can enter the Item manually or take from Item Proposal, from
Edit >>> Additional Functions >>> Propose Item >>> You can take with the fixed quantity as done in Item Proposal or put as per your requirement. This Item Proposal will be shown in Document Flow.
The Transation code for creating an Item Proposal is VA51
