Leave Request Default date

Former Member

Hi,

I am using the standard ESS business package in portal to do the leave process. When I open the leave request iview, I am getting the default start and end dates as not today, something like 11/11/2007.

Where is this date picked from? How to make this date default to today?

Please suggest.

Thanks.

Barin,

In SPRO - Specify How Leave Is Displayed and Default Values, under Default Values section I find these 2 fields and their values as below,

Default Next Absence Day - Next Workday

Selection Date for Overview of Absences - Start of the Year

Am i looking in the correct config, if so, are these values ok?

Thanks.

Barin,

The date keeps changing...also, if it's changed to next calendar day, the date for sure gets defaulted to today...? coz, i cann't change the configs now, as i am in quality server. If i have to change then it needs approval, etc.

Could you pls confirm if next calendar day is given, then date will be today?

Thanks.

do it on development only please. no need for quality.

if this problem is in quality only the check the same entry in development and compare with quality.

I am trying to analyse why is it taking 11/11 only and I am not using your system. if i can access your system then i will be in position to confirm.
