ACTIVITY MANAGEMENT WITH PRODUCTS

Hi SAP GURUS,

I m creating activity with products. but when I go to activity journal tab page if once I give the product ID then category ID is inactive or if I give the category id the product ID is inactive. even if the batch also I m not able to enter anything. CAnanybody suggest me how to put both the fields or how automatically it will take if I put either product id or category id. In my concern it should take automatically if I put either product id or category id.

pls let me know. its very urgent.

Hi Chinmaya

You will have to create your own Activity Journal using the tcode CRMM_JOURNAL where in you can maintain the default Products and Product Categories that you want to maintain

Secondly in the attributes tab, add batch as the selectable option.

Incase you have to use the same fields in different journals again, make a journal template and use it.

That u had mentioned here i had done already and in that attribute tab I had selected the batch also. But I m not seeing any product and product categories there. There is sales org, territory, division frequency and other thing r there but there is no product and product category in overview tab.

Can u give me any oter solution or else how can I add the product and product category field in that.

Pls urgent.

Hi Chinmaya

You must have created the activity journal template, now create the activity template. Here you can see the Products tab, there you can maintian the same

Hi Rekha,

I did that 1 also. But Still if I give only product in activity journal tab of activity with product the category id field is inactive.If I enter manually all fields like product and product category and batch it is taking but one error is there category hierarchy for product category is missing.

One thing let me clear about it I have 4 category ID and 15 products. I assigned the whole category as welll as whole product to the template. After that I saved the template and now not able to change in the sence i m not able to add any batch and target group in that.

Thogh template and template type can not be deleted what I will do in this case.
