My client is using Automatic Batch Determination, but now they want to be able to enter Sales Order Items and Stock Transport Order items for greater than the quantity of a single Delivery. Therefore, at Delivery creation time, multiple Deliveries would have be created with batches selected for each. For example, if an Order Item was entered for 1100 BG, but we want to create two Deliveries for 550 BG each, we are unable to do so because we encounter hard error message VL360 "Delivery quantity is less than the quantity of 1100 BG assigned to batches" when our in house developed programming tries to reduce the quantity of the first Delivery created from 1100 BG to 550 BG. An example of this in included in an attachment below.

Is there any way to create multiple Deliveries for a given Sales Order Item or Stock Transport Item using Automatic Batch Determination?

I don't really know why you run into this situation.

It looks to me that you are changing the delivery quantity after the batch got assigned.

if you want reduce your delivery then you have to reduce the the batch quantity first.
