How to handle locked Notification/Order in SAP UI5 offline Application

Hello Experts,

We are working on SAP UI5 application which works in Offline. We are facing problem of data loss if any order is open in change mode in SAP and user sync from tab that time it not updating values in SAP.

Is there any way we can restrict data from sync and display message "Order/Notification locked in SAP" if there is any Notification or Order is open in SAP.

Hello,

For your purpose you can inspire you with this blog : Set soft state to OData service

But, I will not advice you this because it will require lot of resources (depend on howmany users).

If you want keep a lock a long time more than few minutes, you can imagine something like using a Worklow started by the UI which (the WF) will lock the order until the UI unlock it (without Soft state method).
