Auto Update Mobile Application From Afaria?

Hello Experts,

Can you please guide, how can I automatically update mobile application installed on Android & iOS from Afaria. E.g. I have created application policy for mobile app with version 1.0 and now I want to push version 2.0 to all the devices, so that, it can be automatically updated to all the mobile devices (not by manual process using Afaria Client).

FYI, I am using Afaria 7 SP22.

Hello Krishna,

The simplist way to do it is to update your current application policy with new version of the application. When policy gets pushed, the existing application will be updated on your devices. Try that and if you run to a problem let us know.

Thanks for the reply, but I think, after only updating the current application policy with new version, user will have to manually update using Afaria Client.

Hi,

Does the following help you?

iOS:
When VPP apps are distributed based on a Device Serial Number, there is not a way to update those installed VPP applications on iOS devices.(However, this may be implemented in the future)
