Hi Guys,

My Client Scenario is while converting( Creation not at the time of Release) pld ord to production ord,Batch Management Should come into the Picture. It is coming fine and its allowing to select the characterstic of batch, also right. But after finishing this it is taking all Bom components ...Why its happening any one can Guide me...

EX:

CLASS: CAR

CHARACTERSTICS: 1. TYRE.( MRF, TVS)

2. CYLINDER( 3,4)

When creating production order it is showing two characterstics. Also able to select any one of the component (Mrf,3cylinder combination). But after finishing this production order Its picks all BOM items (EX:MRF,TVS,3cylin,4Cylinder).. So how to restrict in production order bill of material i want only those combination which i have selected...If any body has screen shot pls send it to my mail that will be very helpful for me..Any one needs my error screen shot pls provide ur mail id i send u..

Thanks in Advance.

Hi Suresh,

You can use object dependency. For such kind of cases you may use Selction Condition.

Goto SAP help Logistics General -> Variant Configuration -> Dependency -> Selection Condition for writing the syntax.

Thanks.

Hi Mayur,

What ever u said right that's for variant configuration,My scenario is Half of Assemblies coming under 'VC' Other half comes under Batch so Batch management where is place to give Object Dependency. Because this is 023 type object depencency can assign 300 Variant type..So pls Guide..

My Scenario..

Product: CAR

Batch, when ever customer is not going to worry abt product. But according to our stock we will produce it..

Batch are:Tyre it may mrf or tvs, what ever stock available we will fix it...

VC: Customer will select:

EX: Colour:

Customer will choose red, blue, green whatever he wants..

so we are using both scenario according to Sales Order ( Variant Configuration)as well as Production Order(Batch).

Thanks in Advance,

S.suresh.
