Delivery on fixed date!!!

Hi SAPians,

Here is the issue I am struggling with,I am sure many of you might have gone thru this situation, basically we have the orders coming thru EDI and the customer doesn't want the item to be delivered until the specific date even if ATP determines that we have item availaible before that date.

If we manually process the order i am sure we can specify in the system but for EDI orders when every thing happens behind the scene then how does system should determine that this order should not be shipped until this date.

Appreciate if some one could help in resolving this issue.

Asak Mohammed,

For that order type have a delivery block always.

So even if the Sales order is ready the system would not ship it unless and until somebody goes in manually and removes the block.
