file to idoc scenario in dual stack

Hi

I have a requirement where i need to implement the file to idoc scenario in dual stack as am new to pi i don't know what are the steps that i need to carry out exactly can some one help me step by step

Hi Ramesh!

Using Integration Engine:

1. Sender agreement (with File communication channel). FCC is used in communication channel if needed.

2. Receiver Determination (with or without conditions).

3.Interface determination. You use Operation mapping with Message mapping assigned to it to convert your file data to IDoc data.

4. Receiver agreement (with IDoc receiver channel).

Using Adapter engine:

Mostly the same, but you set up all process flow within single Integrated Configuration object. In this case IDOC_AEE adapter type should be used at receiver side.

And one more thing: since you're new to PI, it's strongly recommended to spend some time for learning PI's basics.
