Report on Change log Material master

Dear All,

My user want report on the changes done in Materail master record for a perticular period of time.he dont want to see all the fields only 9-10 fields from the MMR.like gross weight,Description,Volume etc.

I have gone through the threads posted on SDN all are were saying about CDHDR/CDPOS tables but we are not understanding how to use these tables for our report

Can someone Guide us how to develop this report?

You have not mentioned whether you put some efforts to find out in SCN. Report SAPMM03A will show the required change log for individual material and you can copy this standard program and develop a customized program to generate report for multiple materials.

If I were an ABAP developer and if I did not understand well the concept for change documents, I would probably edit a material master record in a test system, then I would run RSSCD100 for object class MATERIAL and look at how SAP built their reports.

If I still had some unclear points after reading the help documentation, I would have probably asked a more senior colleague to help me out with whatever I failed to understand.
