Fixing incorrectly show values for Cost center in header of infotypes (PA30 transaction)

Hi,

Recently, I had to change cost centers for certain objects via PPOME transaction.

What is interesting is that, after change, in PA30 transaction, 90% of cost center changes are displayed correctly, and 10% are incorrect. By incorrect I mean that for certain Infotypes, system is showing old or generic, instead of new cost center value.

Now, somewhere in documentation, I have found that this can be changed in SAP configuration via available relevant option.

Change means that, after activating that option, for those 10% of incorrect data will be instantly updated after change in transaction PPOME or similar.

I have tried searching this option, but I didn't have any luck so any help is appreciated!

Hi Sam, If I remember correctly this is done in T582A, checked these infotypes with the incorrect cost center and see if the check box 'Choose data' is selected, if so the header will select data based on your setting in T588H, if it's ticked then it select data based on system date. The documentation for this check box in T582A is quite detailed (F1).
