How would i know weather NWDI is installed in my Server or not?Is there anyway to check

Hi,

To create track your user should assigned to NWDI.Administrators group and if you want to import the configuration your user should have the developer group NWDI.Developer. Go to the below link.

Hi Sankar,

Go to the Window => Preferences

Select <b> Development Configuration pool </b>

Under <b> Java Development Infrastructure </b>

Then give URL http://hostname:port like http://sa2sscx007:50000

And then click on ping server.

If ping is successful the NWDI is installed in your system.

If it's installed you will see a menu with DTR, CBS, SMS and SLD links.

hey i got the links but it says:

"Tried to show all tracks defined in CMS, but user has no permission to read data from CMS"

Can you explain what this means.

Can i proceed for NWDI Development

If you have developer access, i guess you can start NWDI development.

From your NWDS - Preferences - Java DevelopmentInfrastructure - give the url (http://server:port) and import configurations from NWDI Perspective.

I need to create a Track.My Basis guy said that he has given Administrator permissions.But i can't able to create a Track.When i have gone to the Track tab iam finding only in display mode.How can i create a Track
