Failed to fetch metadata

Hello,

I have gone through the wiki and all the forums I could find, have not found an answer to my problem. I am getting "Failed to fetch metadata" when I double click on a RFC/BAPI model "bapi_sflight_getlist". I have created an iview, pages all the possibilities, nothing works.... My VC is setup on the portal server which has connections to backend and all ESS and MSS works perfectly so I know my connections are working....

Have enabled logging but get no errors there aswell...

When I click on some BAPI that needs to choose the fields, the input, output choices and fields are returned, but after I choose what fields I need and continue I get the same error.... Any ideas ?? I do not want BW, BI any of that just yet, at the moment all I want is RFC/BAPI.....

Hi,

the only thing I see would be missing authorizations in the user used for back-end connection.

You should first check the user really used for back-end connection, and secondly check its authorizations
