Security deposit Transfer during move-out

Hi All,

I am facing an issue with Security deposit release during Final invoicing. The security deposit is released however, additionally a Security deposit Transfer posting is happening automatically on the same Business Partner and Contract Account. The security deposit that is released and the transfer postings are both with document type of Invoicing. I haven't done any configuration related to Transfer of security deposit that is released. We do not require transfer of security deposit. Could anyone help let me know if there is any configuration that I might be missing ?

Hi Siva,

Can you check the following Config-

SPRO-->SAP Utilities-->Invoicing-->Invoice Processing-->Item Selection in Invoicing-->Item Selection in Account Maintenance/ Define Sub-Items

Select the R42/R43 clearing type and click on Item Selection for Bill Print out (Sub Items)

Now for the SD request, check is the 'Transfer to credit memo/receivable for consumption billing' is ticked or not.

I think un-ticking it will solve your issue.

Did you maintain any Transfer of Sec Deposits? SPRO > Fin acct New > CA Rec and payable > Business Transactions > Sec deposits > Maintian specs for Transfer of security deposits

Hi Poorna,

Yes, we maintained it. As per the help document for this node, this will get triggered only for Move-in/out cases. We tried removing that config and checked the move-out scenario. But still the account maintenance is getting triggered and Transfer posting is happening.
