Hello,
The company I work for has multiple SCP global accounts (not subaccounts). We would like to connect each SCP global account with our internal SAP backend systems. The SCP global accounts have different access authorizations on our internal systems.
Does this mean we have to set up multiple SAP Cloud Connectors on-premise or can one SAP Cloud connector be configured to connect with multiple SCP global accounts?
Thanks,
Frank.
It is up to you choice. Yet, it is not necessary to use multiple SAP Cloud Connectors. You might use only 1 SAP Cloud Connector to establish connection from multiple SAP CP subaccounts to 1 On-Premise system. Please have a look on this guide:
By the way the opposite scenario is possible as well (connecting multiple On-Premise systems to one SAP CP subaccount)

I asked the same question again here since you didn't seem to get a straight answer here but in essence it's just a case of confusion around terminology. The CC connects directly to subaccounts and doesn't care for which global account that subaccount is in. So the linked procedure above can indeed be used to add subaccounts from different global accounts.
As far as it might be seen from the above mentioned guide, there is nowhere mentioned Global Account in the SAP CC configuration.
I have never tried this scenario, 'cause I do not have access to multiple Global Accounts. Yet, I think it should be possible to connect with one SAP Cloud Connector multiple sub-accounts, even from different Global Accounts.
