Multiple Value Characteristic

Hi All

I have scenario,

For Exp: Char 1 (Single Value) has values of 1,2,3. Char 2 (Mutiple value characteristic) has values A,B,C,D,E,F,G. I would like to assign values to multiple value charactistic (Char 2) based on value of Char 1. ie. if Char 1 ='3', then Char 2 values should be B, D, E. Can you please help me how to do it ?
