Receiver SFTP adapter Error :Connection Reset

Hi Experts,

PO system is trying to connect with third party system through SFTP adapter and receiver adapter is configured with proxy and password based authentication.

When we try to send the message through this adapter it failed with the below error.

Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: javax.resource.ResourceException: com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Session.connect: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset"

Please also check if you have a firewall issue.

This seems to be common connection issue.

Try using system IP of SFTP instead of host and check. Also ensure credentials are fine, You shall try the same using Filezilla.

did you check from os level if your pi is able to connect to target sftp host using the same port which you tried in channel? telnet should be working
