Precalculated Value Sets with variables

Hi All,

I'm trying to populate a Precalculated Value Set using a query that has prompt for characteristic variable values (0FISCPER, for instance).

I'm using BW 3.1; does any one know how to use variables in populating Precalculated Value Sets? Is it possible?
