.setVisible() property is not working after installing VBX Extensions

My dashboard was working fine until I downloaded and installed the VBX Extensions from Visual BI. I tried to uninstall the extensions, restarted my computer and opened my older version and the dashboard was not working as it did before I installed the extensions. After investigating further, I found this -- the .setVisible() is flagged in the script and is no longer working (I am attaching a photo for reference). I tried to manually typed any object to see if the .setVisible() property is available to other objects but it is not available either. I have no idea what is going on and how to fix it. I asked a colleague of mine to open my dashboard from her end and my dashboard is working the way it should. It appears that the SDK/Extension I installed messed up with Design Studio 1.6.

    Hi Alexendra,

    I agree with Mustafa.

Meanwhile try this as mentioned in below screenshot.

Note: If you can not delete it move it to some other folder, as this is default location and will be re-created again once you re-install DS.

    -Regards,

    Fahad

I had to remove the "Analysis-config" folder both from my regular user account and my admin user account folder and the problem was fixed. Unfortunately, Visual BI denied that it was their product that was causing the problem, so I never got any help from their support from that. Their support just got defensive about it and that's all I got. Anyway, I'm just glad it's fixed now.

    Hi Alexendra,

As you have stated, since this issue appears to be related to the use of the VBX 3rd-party extension, please contact Visual BI Support directly to resolve.

    Regards,

    Mustafa.
