Territory determination based on BP relationship

Hello, Can someone please help to describe better way of determining territory based on customer master relationship. The relationship is not part of TM rules so we are currently using custom program to determine based on BP relationship. But this is not very efficient in terms on programming effort/logic and performance. reaching out to check if anyone using this logic and can share the experience. So e.g. Let's say customer 100, 101, 102, 105 , 109, 110 have relationship as head office as 1000. So in my rule I would like to assign 1000 to a territory T1 so that system can determine that T1 have BP 100, 101, 102, 105 , 109 and 110. Kind of related to this question. https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3308069

This is in CRM 7.0 EHP4.0

Thank you

    Hi ,

you may need to do it with your customer attribute.

    https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/CRM/How+to+develop+customer+attribute+with+BADI+CRM_TERRMAN_ATTRIB+in+SAP+CRM+territory+management

this is my wiki and it takes bp relationship as an example.

    hope it helps.
