Filter dataset on load in Design Studio

Hi please help I am new to design studio. After creating a new application, I would like to load data but the problem I have is that the datset I am loading is too large. How can I enable prompts on design studio in order to filter the data before loading

I am using design studio release 1.6 SP1

If it is a BEx query, and you have mandatory prompts, then your application will show prompts at the start of the application

Thanks for the response Tammy, It is a BEx query that has prompts but the prompts are not coming through on the design studio application. if I access the same query with WEBI prompts are available. is there some setting I need to change on design studio as my colleagues are also struggling with this

Hi - are they mandatory BEX variables? If so, you should see those on start-up
