Reverse tracing a spool job

Hello,

I have a print job who was every day nearly the same time printed one or two pages out at a fix printer. How can I trace it back to the application or job. I found the job in the cups (linux) and in the spool WP. But after that I dont know to trace it back ?

you said "I found the job in the cups (linux) and in the spool WP" in linux or in the Spool WP you should find the spool ID, open This ID and you will find who initiated the job (if not deleted after successfull print), block the printer in SAP

Thanks a lot, I send this to the customer. Hope the will find the Z Programm who prints ghost paper pages.

Are you looking for How to identify the report and output device that created spool?

If yes than, Execute the report BTCAUX05 this gives the details of the program name, printer name and spool numbers generated in the system.

SAP note: 1145265 - In which job has this spool request been created?
