Open dats set

Hello,

I am report. In the i am using opendataset.My problem is i have a flat file in that i saperated fields by tabs. In my output i am getting output but, it is divided by '# ' this symbol. The space in the flat file taken as a "# " this symobol.

SO how to remove that symbol in my output.

    actually there it is taking the output according to it field length give space between the data in your flat file then you wouldnt get it

    Hello Srinu

    If you are working already on SAP basis >= 6.40 then you can replace the <i>Tabs </i>using the following statement:

    READ DATASET ld_dsn INTO ld_string.
    
    REPLACE ALL OCCURRENCES OF CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES=>HORIZONTAL_TAB IN ld_string WITH space.

    Download the file on presentation server using CG3Y transaction & check the file content.
