SAP Portal How to generate link for URL Iviews

HI i am creating URL I views in SAP Portal , but i am facing issue with the URL's ,from Portal i guess there is not any option of Generating the URL . so my question is that from where we can generate that link for URL I view . Please have a look on this and help me regarding this URL Generation .. Thanks & regards Lalit bhatt

Hi Lalit,

URL iView is somewhat different from other iViews, its sole purpose is performing a redirect to the specified URL.
So if I were not wrong, you are seeking for the way of generating direct URL for URL iView in portal, right? This sounds like making no sense. The URL iView should be used and assigned to the role/user within portal landscape .

Please kindly provide us with more information for your requirement if this does not answer your question.

Hi lalit bhatt, The URL iView is used to show static external url? I mean the url has to be already created.
